Adaptation school courses in terms of prevention of risk behavior

The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis deals with terminology connected to adaptation school courses, description of relationships between people in groups and it introduces school adaptation courses in detail. It also mentions issue of risky behaviour and its prevention. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to find out participants' views on the importance of adaptation courses and on setting goals before adaptation courses by using semi-structured interviews. Another important goal of the thesis is to find out how participants perceive connection of adaptation courses with elements of prevention of risky behaviour. Finally, the participants' experiences with different types of reflection are presented. A method of qualitative research was used in the thesis, where a total of 5 respondents from various primary schools and grammar schools participated and answered 12 questions. The results of the research mostly correspond with the professional literature, but the participants also present a view from a different perspective at some points.
